(6th – 11th Grade as of 2023-24 school year)

Get ready for an amazing six sensational weeks of fun, mentoring, and youth leadership training. Our summer program is for guys and girls ages eleven to seventeen years old (6th thru 11th grade – as of 2023-24 school year). We provide a safe and secure space for youth to make new friends, make positive connections and develop their talents and character.

From the moment their youth enter Link-Up Leadership Summer Youth/Camp they feel love, warmth, and excitement. This six-week program is planned to help each youth soar to a higher level of leadership skills, self-confidence, and positivity. To keep each week fresh there are plenty of daily surprises and awards.

Our staff is equipped and trained in best practices in youth work and have completed background checks.

The camp is divided into age-based groups:
D-1’s – Ages 11-13
D-2’s – Ages 14-17

Leadership Development – Daily

Types of leadership are discovered
Characteristics of being a leader in the community
How to Present Yourself

The 5 C’s of Leadership - Once per week

Youth learn the 5 core qualities of being a positive community share holder

Life Solutions Mentoring Sessions – Once per week

Key Topics such as: Anger Resolution, Honor & Respect, and
Self-Worth is addressed

Fitness and Exercise - Daily

Basic stretching, calisthenics, and sports

Arts – Daily

Dance – Urban Dance, Praise Dance, Jazz Dance
Drama – How to present with confidence, basic acting skills and script development
Painting – Drawing, Watercolor, Acrylic

Martial Arts – Once per week

Self-Defense, MMA Basic

Journaling – Twice per week

Daily capture of feelings, emotions, thought, and solutions

Daily Meal - Daily

A delicious hot meal is served daily from local restaurants

Outing/Trip – Once per week

Trips to area attractions and amusement centers

Summer Program Fee: $150.00

This fee covers:
1) daily activities 2) daily meals 3) weekly outings.

Plus, each participant receives a T-Shirt and Journal at registration.

$100.00 due at registration – remaining balance by July 16, 2024.

General Safety Requirements:

A youth is never alone with a single adult staff member
Youth are only released to designated adult(s) for pick-up
Youth are not permitted to leave our grounds for any reason
Early dismissals must be verified by parental note or phone call
If a youth takes medication our staff must be informed to ensure
that schedule is followed.

Health Protocols and Requirements:

Food Allergy Form must be completed by parent/guardian
Handwashing is required before all meals
Hand sanitizer is positioned at youth gathering areas
All surfaces and supplies are sanitized daily
